OYO Parent PRISM Reports 35% Revenue Growth in Q1 FY27, Profit Rises 17% to ₹353 Crore

PRISM records strong growth across hotels and vacation homes, supported by technology investments, AI-driven operations and global expansion.

OYO's parent company, PRISM, has reported a 35% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue from operations, reaching ₹2,814 crore in the first quarter of FY 2026–27, compared to ₹2,078 crore during the same period last year, according to audited financial statements reviewed by The Economic Times.

The hospitality company's consolidated profit after tax (PAT) rose 17% to ₹353 crore, up from ₹301 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY26. The reported quarterly profit included a deferred tax credit of approximately ₹244 crore.

PRISM also registered significant growth in its Gross Booking Value (GBV), which increased 30% to approximately ₹9,600 crore from ₹7,408 crore in Q1 FY26. Meanwhile, EBITDA climbed 24% year-on-year to ₹760 crore, compared to ₹611 crore in the previous year.

Strong Performance Across Hospitality Segments:
Speaking at the company's Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) in early October, founder Ritesh Agarwal highlighted the improving financial performance of PRISM's hotel and vacation home businesses.

He noted that both segments had delivered stronger gross margins and operating earnings, reflecting the company's focus on sustainable growth alongside continued investments in brand development and customer acquisition.

Adjusted EBITDA, after accounting for lease expenses, increased 35% year-on-year to ₹589 crore.

The company's hotel business recorded a 30% rise in bookings, while its vacation homes segment achieved 28% growth, demonstrating consistent demand across its hospitality portfolio.

Technology and AI Driving Operational Efficiency:
Agarwal attributed PRISM's financial progress to strategic investments in technology, branding, distribution networks and its global operating infrastructure.

He emphasised that the company continues to strengthen its operational capabilities while maintaining healthy earnings and expanding its presence across key markets.

A major contributor to this strategy is PRISM's centralised technology platform, which is deployed across different geographies to streamline essential hospitality functions such as pricing, reservations, distribution, customer support and property management.

India remains a crucial technology and operational centre for PRISM, supporting both its domestic hospitality business and international operations.

The company is also accelerating the integration of artificial intelligence into its systems to enhance productivity and automate routine processes.

According to Agarwal, AI-powered solutions are helping PRISM improve pricing decisions, operational efficiency and guest service delivery.

He also highlighted Grace AI, the company's AI-powered general manager, which assists with hotel operations across several properties in Western markets.

Global Expansion Strengthens PRISM's Growth Outlook:
PRISM's geographically diversified business model continues to play an important role in its financial performance.

North America remains a strategic market for the company, particularly following its acquisition of G6 Hospitality.

Agarwal revealed that G6 Hospitality contributed approximately ₹14,000 crore in Gross Booking Value during FY 2025–26, highlighting the scale of PRISM's expanding international operations.

With strong booking growth, improving operating earnings and increasing adoption of AI-led hospitality solutions, PRISM continues to strengthen its position in the global hospitality industry.

The company's latest quarterly results reflect its focus on combining technology-driven efficiency, brand expansion and diversified revenue streams to support long-term business growth.
